BandiView HDR supportHDR stands for High Dynamic Range. An HDR technique offers a widened range of brightness and color than SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) used in traditional images formats like JPEG. BandiView supports an image output using HDR. If both hardware and software support HDR, the app can express more natural and realistic details that only the human eyes can tell. The following is an example of the same HDR image opened with BandiView on LG 48C1 OLED TV; the left shows when HDR settings are on, and the right shows when the settings are off. You can see the expression of brightness and color more optimized on the left side, where HDR settings are enabled. ![]() To view an HDR image with BandiView, the following requirements should be met first:
